How do I mount my bike on roof rack.?

I have a Specialized Enduro. The front does not seem to have a quick release, but the back does. The roof rack requires you to take off the front wheel. I have tried taking off the rear wheel and it wont fit. How else would I do this? Would I have to buy a big mouth Thule rack so the whole bike just fits on top?

What kinds of racks fit on a Pinnacle Ouray bicycle?

Other than the seat post mountable rack, I am trying to find a bicycle rack that fits onto my Pinnacle Ouray bicycle.

You can view the bike's specs at the Pinnacle Bikes site: http://www.pinnaclebikes.com/

I am leaning more towards frame racks that have a frame big enough to fit onto my bike rather than the free/loose kind that is reliant on my seat post.

I've tried a Avenir Disc Rack, and it does not seem compatible with little success, despite it saying it fits most disc brake designed bikes.

To further clarify, a Pinnacle Ouray is a bike equipped with disc brakes. It is a full suspension bike and the rear axle is not fully integrated into a full hard frame. But rather, it is housed in its own frame hinged onto the main bike frame and then connected by a spring suspension.

Rear bike reflector what are my options?

I installed a luggage rack on the back of my bike and it completely covers my back reflector. I suppose I have to attach a tail light to my luggage rack but I'm not sure which one will fit.

Any suggestions? This is the rack I have...

Thanks!
The luggage rack covers my seat post entirely.

Recommendation for a bike rack?

I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra with a rear spoiler. Can anyone recommend a bike rack, (it only needs to hold one bike) I have 300 miles of interstate driving so it needs to be as secure as possible.

Can I put saddlebags and/or a rear rack on a Trek 1.2?

I'm thinking of getting a bicycle for my commute and for general recreation. My father is an avid cyclist and recommends Trek. Beyond that I don't know a whole lot, and he lives overseas and isn't around to help me with this.

I want to get a road bike, so I was thinking the Trek 1.2. It looks like a good entry-level bike, which is perfect for me.

My question is: Can I put saddlebags and/or a rear rack on one of these? Here is a link to it: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/road/1_series/12/

I know I can physically attach one to it. I guess my question is will that somehow screw up the bike.

Please have experience with cycling or otherwise know what you're talking about before you answer this question.

Do you prefer using a rear mounted basket or panniers with your hybrid/mountain bike?

I'm trying to decide which is more convenient and functional -- using a removable rear-mounted basket or using a rear pannier. I've never used either, and I'm going to use it for grocery shopping. If I get a basket that snaps in place on the rear rack, I assume I'll need bungee cords so that nothing bounces out. I don't like the way permanent side baskets look on the bike.

I've read that with the panniers, or grocery bag, sometimes feet hit them while pedaling.

My local bike shop sells rear racks and a grocery pannier and baskets, but they are so expensive. The rear racks are .99 and .99
The grocery pannier thing is .99 for one bag
The snap-on removable basket is .99

I'm afraid to order online because I don't know the quality, and I don't want to order something that might not fit right. Plus I don't know how to install this stuff on my own.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Is it ok for a universal bike rack to sit at an angle on my car?

I have a bell universal 2-bike holder that I lost the manual for, and haven't used in a while, I can't find a manual for it online and when I try to install it myself the arms that hold the bikes stand up about 20 degrees up from flat, I don't really have a problem with it because all the clips and snaps fit snugly and securely, but my girlfriend says I can't use it unless it sits flat, because it gets in the way of the rear view mirror...

help?

Is there a law as to how rear bike racks should be positioned while parked?

I just got into a small accident...I was backing out of a parking space, in which my front bumper was facing the curb (that's how the parking was) and while I'm backing out and turning my wheel to the right so I can go the direction I needed I suddenly hit something. I look in my mirrors and couldn't see what it was...got out the car and realized it was a damn bike rack behind a Ford Escape...initially I thought that thing was put up and it fell on my car or something like that...the dude came out and said it was in the same position I hit it...so basically I want to know if there is a law for these bike racks having to be up parallel to the car's back or if they can be lowered while parked?

Here are a few pictures so you can better understand my situation:
